Sixth Form Our Sixth Form is a wonderful place to spend two years. Our purpose built Sixth Form Centre is a tremendous facility: it is used exclusively by the Sixth Form and includes tutorial rooms, a reading room, a large split-level common room and a much-loved cafe. The girls also make regular use of the School's well-stocked library and their own Sixth Form Library. There is a vibrant ethos in the Sixth Form that puts our girls firmly on the road to success in their future careers: hard work and high expectations are coupled with laughter and opportunities ensuring that the girls are well equipped for life in the adult world.
We are able to offer a wide range of subjects at both AS and A2 Level, and our flexible timetabling allows the girls to choose from an enormous range of subject combinations. We give real freedom of choice alongside a great deal of guidance and information on subject choice and careers. The Sixth Form, like the rest of the School, gives our girls the opportunity to develop a range of skills. There is a wide choice of clubs, events and activities which the Sixth Formers organise for themselves and for the younger girls. As Head Girl, Prefects, House Captains, Form Prefects and ‘Big Sister' Peer Counsellors, our Sixth Formers also take a significant leadership role in school and their contribution is greatly valued. We believe that we not only help the girls to achieve outstanding results but also lay the foundation for a fulfilling and happy life after school. Almost all our students go on to Higher Education: girls go on to follow a wide range of degree courses including Medicine, Science, Modern Languages, Law, Engineering, Architecture and Art.
