ICT ICT is not only an academic subject that leads to valuable qualifications, it teaches the skills that will empower the scientists, engineers, educators, legal professionals and business women of the future. These young women will move into a world where worldwide communication and conferencing is part of their lives, where research methods know few boundaries, where information processing is carried out with speed and accuracy and where all presentation is multi-media. The possession of the computer skills to cope independently in this world is the key to success. These are the skills we teach our girls here at Central High.
The School is impressively equipped with a multi-media computing network that spans our three sites and includes both Junior and Senior School. The Senior School ICT department comprises two dedicated suites, each accommodating up to 25 girls.
There are more than two hundred laptop and notebook computers in daily use to support and enhance teaching and learning. Central High is committed to on-going development of ICT resources and use of its VLE providing access to the School Network from home. Outline of the Curriculum
