What is DME AppBox?

DME AppBox is a Mobile Enterprise Application Platform (MEAP) that provides the ability to create form-based applications, integrated with a wide range of back-office applications, which will reside within the DME secure container on the device.

DME AppBox offers the possibility to mobilise a wide range of business processes, such as:

• Vacation requests
• Travel bookings
• Purchase order approvals

DME Appbox’s Secure Browser

DME AppBox is currently reinventing itself and is returning in an enhanced and updated version. DME AppBox will enable enterprises to deploy business applications into the DME secure container. It will also enable DME Secure Browser.

The Secure Browser will enable secure access to your company’s intranet, Sharepoint and web pages from email links all within DME’s secure container.

With DME Appbox’s Secure Browser you can:

• Get secure access to internal web sites and web apps, with all the features of a modern browser, including many HTML 5 features
• Centrally control who can access which internal web servers
• Read the rest of your RSS Feeds – full integration with DME RSS Feed reader – get access and read the rest of the article, and not just the extract in the feed
• Open all URLs found in DME mails, calendar entries, contacts, ToDos etc (replacing DME SmartLinks)
