The Challenge

Dell PDA
Mobile computational devices have become an integral part of today's business workplace. Due to their small size, intuitive handling and flexibility, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) have matured to become more than just a calendar management device.
The ability to store data and wireless communications to the company network allow unsecured PDAs to expose a serious leak in an otherwise well protected company network. Their high mobility increases the risk of loss high mobility increases the risk of or theft significantly
SafeGuard PDA
SafeGuard PDA protects your mobile device against unauthorized use via a secure and convenient user authentication. Using the standardized AES encryption algorithm, data can be safely stored on the device or sent encrypted via mail over the Internet. SafeGuard PDA has earned the "Designed for Microsoft Windows for Pocket PC" Logo, which ensures a high level of interoperability with a broad range of Pocket PC hard- and software.
Flexible Authentication

Symbol logon
PDAs, as opposed to "normal" workstations, are frequently switched on and off during a typical working day, secure and convenient user authentication is paramount.
As well as the traditional password based authentication you have the choice of authentication via a sequence of symbols or even from biometric recognition, where a potential hacker would not only have to know the password, but also be able to replicate your way of writing it.
