Cross talk at the BBC over Blackberry crosstalk

The BBC today shut down it's BlackBerry mobile email servce over allegations that senior executive's email was not as secure as it should be.
Many converations, amongst them one by Peter Fincham where he is alledged to have commented on Cilla Black's potential for a BBC audience.
This story throws up two issues that we at ecommnet have been banging on about for ages: email content security and the unsecure nature of the BlackBerry platform.
