North East Fraud Forum

neff logoThe North East Fraud Forum launch a new web site designed to be the resource for information regarding fraud prevention. Since it's inception in March 2003 the NEFF has been hugely successful in carrying out its aims, which is to promote fraud awareness and successful fraud prevention strategies across both public and private sectors. The recent annual conference highlighted the risks of Charity Fraud and the vulnerabilities of Charity organisations. The formation of the NEFF to-date has resulted in:
  • Reduction of fraud-oriented crime in the region highlighted by a 32% decrease in business crime.
  • Improved partnership working and better information sharing.
  • Provision of best practice service to the region and throughout the country.
