The Olympic organisers for the Athens 2004 Games leave themselves open to criticism and possible legal action with the quality of their web site. The preparations for the forthcoming summer games in Athens have been in the news almost constantly over the last year, with concerns mounting as the event draws near.Only last week the BBC's Radio4 You and Yours program ran a report assessing the preparations for the Paralympics for disabled visitors and athletes alike. The report presented a mixed picture of the City's capability to cope; Peter White's report was a real 'eye opener' (pun intended) and should be mandatory listening for architects and town planners everywhere. Unfortunately the same appears to be the case with the Athens 2004 Games web site, it seems to be leaving itself wide open for a repeat of the legal action taken by Bruce Maguire against the Sydney Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (SOCOG) in 2000.
