MS-IIS5 overflowing again

ms-technetMicrosoft has just released (17th March) yet another advisory for IIS5 detailing a buffer overflow vulnerability in the WebDAV components within IIS. WebDAV, Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning protocol is a set of extensions to IIS defined in RFC 2518. There are details of patches and workarounds in the bulletin. Only Windows 2000 and IIS5 are affected. Service pack 3 doesn't get you out of the deep and smelly stuff either, however older versions NT4; IIS4 and XP do not have the same vulnerability. ...others maybe but not this one.
